Active work will start this week through the troop com- mittees in the various churches and reports of these troop committee’s selection of captains will be made at the next meeting. Such selection will necessarily be left to tine individual church or school for final determina- tion. The desire of the council is simply to stimulate the interest of all ups in the scout movement. The Girl Scout organization seeks to promote the 10 scout laws of, truth, loyalty, Helpfulness, friend- liness, courtesy, kindness, obedience, cheerfulness, purity and thrift.
