Because of Captain-elect Barrow’s failure to return to school this year, it was necessary to appoint a new leader, and Wright was the most qualified for this position, he was chosen. The election was made by the remaining members of last year's team Captain Wright has played guard on the football team for three years. since Barrows did not return, the men immediately looked to Wright as ther leader.
