(Special to Herald) Rocky Hill, Oct. 18.—Clifford Les- ter Holges, formerly of New Britain, who was married only eight days ago to Mi: Lucy Heritage of Fartford, died at the Hartford Hospital Wed- nesday evening of pneumonia follow- ing Spanis Mr. Holmes was 29 years age, and when he lived in this v he made his home on Fairview street. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 1:30 o'clock at No. 7 Capital avenue, Hartford, and services will also be held at the Rocky Hill Methodist church. Inte ment will be in Rocky Hill in charge of Columbia lodge, A. F. & A. M., of South Glastonbury. Mr. Holmes was a carpenter by trade and had been employed as a ship builder at the Hog Island ship- vards at Philadelphia.
