AN OLD RECIPE TO DARKEN HAIR Common Garden Sage and Sulphur Makes Streaked, Faded or Gray Hair Dark and Youthful at Once, Almost everyone knows that Sage Tea and Sulphur, properly com- pounded, ‘brings back the natural color #nd lustre to the hair when faded, streaked or gray. Years ago the only way to get this mixture was to' make it at home, which is mussy &nd troublesome. Nowadays we simply ask .at. any . @rug stare for “Wyeth’s Sage and Sul- phur Compound.” You will get a Jarge bottle of this old time recipe im- proved - by the addition of other In- gredients for about 50 cents. Bvery- body uses this preparation now, be- cause no one can passibly tell that you darkened your hair, as it does it so naturally and evenly. You dampen a sponge or soft brush with it and draw this through your hair, taking one small strand at a time; by morn- ing the gray hair disappears, and after enother application or two, your hair becomes beautifully dark, thick and glossy and you look years iyounger. ‘Wyeth’s: Sage and Sulphur 'Com- peund is a delightful toilet requisite. In the production of automo- biles, there are at present two types of engineers, the naturally mechanical and the theorist. Mr. Law, by his accomplishments, proved without doubt to be of the former kind: It was the 40 h. p. car designed by Mr. Law that made such a wonderful reputation for the Columbia people. It was a vehicle that auto judges agreed ‘as being one of the sturdiest makes in the motor vehicle world, and was a tribute to the engineering abil- ity of Mr. Law. The Eastern Motors company, Ine., in securing such a practical engineer, has taken the first step toward making New Britain's new industry a success. The coming of the coneern is being hailed with de- light by local people, as spirited ef- forts had been made by other cities in New England to secure the plant to manufacture the Charter Oak car.
