Y., after a visit with friends on Mai nstreet. Miss Marion Riordan, who has been the guest of Miss Helen Foster of this city for the past few days, has re- turned to her home in Greenwich. A case of scarlet fever on Ash street and a case of diphtheria on North Main street are the only two cases un- der quarantine in the city at present. A scarlet fever case on Fairview strect was released from quarantine today.| C. B. DOLGE'S FUNERAL, Westport Man Was Prominent in Em- balmers Supply Trade, Westport, Dec. B5.—Funeral ser- vices for C. B. Dolge, a prominent member of the embalmers supply trade, whose death occurred here last Saturday, in his 70th year, were held today. Mr. Dolge was formerly as- sociated with his brother, Alfred Dolge, In the management of large lumber and felt mills at Dolgeville, N. Y. Later he took up the em- balmers supply business, making a number of inventions and numerous improvements in undertakers’ para- phernalia. Among his discoveries was that of the value of formaldehyde in Daly council, Henna’s hall. K. of C., meets in an embalming fluid as a preservative. Although there has been a record sale of tickets for the concert to be given at Fox's theater by the Masonic choir of Waterbury assisted by Miss Grace Kerns of New York, there are a few seats left that can be secured at the box office. It is expected that the house will be sold before night as the choir and Miss Kerns are well known in musical circles and are widely sought for entertainments.
