Announcement of winners will be made in New Britain Herald, TI The persons receiving the largest number of vol In the event of a tie, the contestants so tied will be y important roles in the photoplay. The winners will be given the principal roles and each contestant who polls one hundred (100) votes or more will be given a part in the picture. Coupons will be printed daily in the New Britain Herald. Nomination blanks appeared first th s of last week., Any person, male or female, of good character, 16 years of age and over is eligible to act in the picture. Each Nomination blank gave the candidate twenty-five (25) votes. Only one nomination blank to each contestant. Win the Leads in the Herald’s Motion Picture Popularity Contest Below Is An Explanation in Picture Form: RULES AND CONDITIONS Each coupon clipped from the New Britain Herald will count for five votes. COUPONS MUST BE DEPOSITED IN BALLOT BOX NOT LATER THAN THREE (3) DAYS AFTER ISSUANCE IN THE PAPER, OTHER- ‘WISE THEY ARE VOID. Ballot Box will be placed in outside lobby of FOX’S THEATER. Votes cannot be transferred from one contestant to another after being placed in the ballot box. Names and addresses must be written plainly on the ballots. If 25 or more ballots are placed in ballot box at one time they should be wrapped in a neat bundle, with name, address and number of votes plainly marked on the package. A committee of three, which will be announced later, will count the votes at the termination of the voting, to determine the winners. No person employed or connected in any way with the New Britain Herald or Fox Theater is eligible to enter the contest. I. There they will be “filmed” beneath the same big powerful mer- cury lights that shone down upon such stars as Nat Goodwin and Flora Finch. They will see famous directors and prominent stars at work. Best of all the guests of the Herald will have an opportunity to actually Britain Picture which will be shown at the Fox theater for one week, in addition to the regular bill and at no increase of price. Picture will be taken in New Britain and directed by the Commercial Department of The Mirror Film Inc. Messrs. Keilty and Keeney Mgrs.
