Following requests from a number of the members B, W. Alling will be a candidate for re-election as presi- dent at the annual meeting of the First Ward Republican club Tuesdey evening, May 23. The meeting will be | held in Bardeck's hall. The date has been changed from Friday. Mr. Alling b heen president of this club for the past year and his administration has been a most suc- cessful one. In view of this fact he has been asked to be a candition for re-election. Mr. Alling 1s a w known lawyer, being a member of also holding the office of liquor pros- ecutor. Vice president Joseph G.
