The special ' council committe ap- pointed recently to act in regard to the proposed change of street and grade lines on Ellis street met last evening and gave a hearing to in- terested,, Droperty streét. E. F. Hall representing’ the Ellis estate, favored a fifty-foot street as did representatives of the Corbin | Cabinet Lock Company and the Stan- ; ley Rule and Level company. John | Malmfeldt and John Unwin wanted a | forty-foot street. i Mr. Unwin said that a fifty-foot | street would be damaging him to a heavy extent, leaving the street but | four feet from his hause.
