Chicago, April 24.—John Cudahy, Board of Trade operator, banker and pioneer packer, died at his home here last night aged 71. Physicians as- serted Mr. Cudahy had never com- pletely for appendicitis he years ago. He sought to renew his health in California several months ago and since had been in the care of phy- sicians. He is survived by a widow, two daughters and two sons. Cudahy entered the packing indus- try as a boy in Milwaukee, first with Edward Koddis and then with John Plankinon.
