The Rev. Woraniecki, who has been assistant pastor of the. Polish Roman Catholic church of the Sacred Heart for the last year took up Uthe assistant pastorate of St. Thomas’ Roman Catholic church in Southing- ton today. He is the first Polish priest to be assigned to the Southing- ton parish, which, though it contains many of his compatriots is chiefly compbsed of Irish-Americans. The rapidly increasing number of emi- . grants to Southington from central ‘ Purope demands a Polish priest and a new church building, which is being #planned. Father Woraniecki was horn in Furope and received his early educa- tion there. He came to this count about fourteen years ago and gradu- ated from Orchard Lake Michigan.
