Mrs. Powers, Slayer of Miss Sisson, Committed to State Institution. ‘Worcester, Mass., April 3.—Mrs. Mary E. Powers, 59 vears old, who shot and killed Miss Agnes F. Sisson, of Mystic, Conn., in the Powers home on March 6, was committed to the State Insane hospital yesterday after ker arraignment in district court. Dr. Ray L. Whitney testified Mrs. Powers is a paranoiac. There will be no further court pro- ceedings.
