It is greatly regretted by the pub- lic that the road has found it nec- essary to curtail the West Coast ser- vice and to discontinue the trains between Sanford and Lakeland. A home man is more familiar with local conditions, un- derstands our people and knowg the needs of the city. For these reasons I believe the experiment of a home man as city manager should be tried, and am convinced that this plan will work out to the best in- terests of all. | respectfully com- mend this suggestion to our city commissioners for their considera- tion.
