In making such a neckband measure off an inch and a half on each | side of the front and at this point sew a closely set row of tiny brilliants, which cost as little as ten cents a doz- en. So placed and well stiffened un- ! derneath these simulate the jeweled slides of the more expensive neck- bands. This leaves a center space of three inches for special decoration.
