In Case of Fire Phone 5,000 The new home of Mr. Cordery, in :osedale, is nearing completion and from outward appearances is a very pretty home, indeed. Gordon lee is the name of a fin2 little son who came this morning to brighten the home of Mr. and Mrs, Malcolm Waring. Reports from Mr. C. V. Mclntyre, who went to the A. C. L. hospital at Waycross for treatment, are to the efiecy that he has almost entirely re- gained his usual good health. He is at present visiting relatives at Mt. Giive, N. C. Mrs. George M. In commenting on the Jucksonville street car strike, Mr. Jones states that it has reached a critical stage, but that he believes il a general strike is called today that this action will do more than any- thing else to bring it to a close. The Florida Baptist convention meets in Lakeland Dec. 10-14, and a large number of ministers, delegates and other visitors will be in attend- ance. Sanford, of Big Rapids, Mich., after spending a few days in Orlando, left this morning for Lake- land, and other points south. He is perfectly delighted with Orlando, and contemplates locating here at no aistant date. le says: perfectly carried away with this lit- tle town, 1 want to see other places south. I expect to be back here in a few days. In fact I have just writ- ten to my wife that I would rather have one dollar in Florida than ten in Michigan. This climate makes me fcel good when I think of that cold country.
