All branches on soil pipe, when over fifteen (15) feet from main line, shall be extended same size one foot above the eave of the roof. Y's and Cleanouts. Sec, 15, All horizontal four inch cast iron pipes above or below the| ground shall have Y fittings, the placing of these fittings to be left to the discretion of the Inspector. Hydraulic elevators, water motors, floor drains, spittoons, and other similar fixtures not men- tioned may be connected with the sewer only as the Inspector may di- rect, the surrounding circumstances governing the same. Sec. 28. Floor drains and shower baths shall be considered a fixture and will be provided with a deep seal trap, cleanout and strainer. Bell traps will not be allowed. in Watar Leaders ater Sec. It shall be the duty of all plumbers or drain layers in the City of Lakeland, when a contract is taken by them to connect any building or premises with the city sewers, to begin work under such contract within ten days from date the permit is issued and to complete the work according to the rules and regulations herein prescribed in as short a time as may be practicable and consistent with thorough work- manship. | All Fixtures on Sewer Connection. Sec, 33, All closets and fixtures shall be on the connection for the house mentioned in the permit. Shall Net Connect to Sewer Without Permit and Street Must be Prop- erly Renaired. Sec. 34. It shal! be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation or as- sociation to tap or make connection with any sewer in the City of Lake- land for any purpose whatever, ex- cept by permission of the Plumbing Inspector. When a connection is made with any city sewer or a line of cower laid to connect with said sewer, it must be done under the direction of the Inspector, and the person, firm, corporation or associa- | s tion making said connection shall be liable for any damage resulting therefrom, and shall replace the street and sidewalk along nnd through which said connection made in as good condition as it was before the work was commenced, and shall repair at their own expense any settlement in the pavement over the drain on any street or public way within one year after the laying of the said drain.
