Her topic will be “The Southern Woman Looks at Conser- vation.” Miss Mason is meeting a-delega- tion of state officers and the Con- servation Committee in Ocala on Monday morning, October 4, to view sites for the Federation Forest in the Ocala National Forest. ‘The University Women’s’ Club will be hostess to all board mem- bers who wish to tour the campus of the University from 4:30 to 6:30 «» Tuesday afternoon. They have arranged for a demonstration of correct hair styles for the various types of faces and figures by Martin, not- ed local hair stylist. Martin will present models to demonstrate his talk and give the jguests “‘tips’” on time saving features of hair styling. After the demonstration, an open discussion will be held. The FAWTU group has planned an unusual French theme in the decorations for the luncheon, with complimentary favors from Martin. Legion Auxiliary Plans Halloween Festivities Halloween Festivities sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 28, are already underway as Marion Arango, chairman for this occasion has acquired the use of Bayview Park on October 29 for a children’s masquerade contest. Any child from the age, of 2 yrs. to high school is eligible and will be grouped according to age and size. There will be prizes for the pret- tiest costume, one for the scariest and one for the most original. .
