Shortly after the opening the high speed ticker tape was be- hind the selling orders pouring into brokerable houses. Losses were generally fractions, ‘but some extended to two points. Chrysler Corp., which halved its quarterly dividend after the mar- ket closed yesterday, did not open | L. immediately. Brokers were busy combining buy and sell orders. Among the opening blocks, most were lower. Mack Trucks lost 2% at 20% on 3,500 shares. Lockheed at 40 was off 1% on 3,000 shares, U.S. Steel off 15 at 52 on 4,500 shares.
