Hilarious Play Opens At Harris Tomorrow N ight “A Ready-Made Family” the three act comedy presented by the Harris School PTA will open tomorrow night at the school audi- torium. The plot revolves around the trials and tribulations of ‘Agnes Martyn” and “Henry Turner,” a widow and widower, who fall in love and want to get married, but their children aren’t in favor of such foolishness for two middle aged people. And there’s “Aunt Lydia,” the unmarried sister of Agnes’ hus- band, who still mourns his death, even after ten years. You can imagine their conster- | nation when Agnes announces that | she is,going to marry an old| school mate, and Henry Turner’s | children also take a dim view of “that woman” their father met while on vacation in Daytona Beach. When the’kids all get their heads together and decide to do some- thing—anything—well, gt’s some- thing you have to see! The play written by Jay Tobias is directed by Mrs. Guy Carle- ton. Honored at the’ party were Henry | Rodriguez, Agnes Cooper, and| Maria Rodriguez. Each received | a birthday gift. One of the many projects of the Key West Lions Auxiliary is to provide a three year nursing schol- arship for a worthy high school girl. In order to raise the remainder of the funds necessary for this worthwhile cause, the Auxiliary voted at the last regular meeting to give a benefit supper on Friday, April 1. @ The supper will be served at the Lions Den on Seminary Street, directly behind the high school gymnasium, from’ 5:30 to 8:00 . m.
