S. Naval Hospital, Boca Chica Dispensary cljnics, Old People’s Home, hospital blood bank, and by probationers in the new class that graduated March 11. At the general business meeting, plans were made for the schedules for the above services. New officers for the Gray La- dies for the coming year are Mrs, Katharine S. Monroe, chairman; Mrs. J. B. Hartley, co-chairman and Mrs. A. L, Leightley, secre- tary-treasurer. It was announced that Mrs. Enda Westfall had transferred from the Alameda Red Cross Chapter, Al- ameda California, and that Mrs, Catherine Rounds had transferred from French Morocco. Carl and Arlene, a comic dance team, entertained the audience with a variety of stunts and “rolli- boli.” Carl stood on his head on a milk bottle, and did some amaz- ing balancing on a board placed on a cylinder. This part of the act was climaxed with Arlene stand- ing on Carl’s shoulders while he seesawed back on forth on the board. This feat was made more difficult because the cylinder and | board were placed on a platform not much bigger than a card table. Right in the spirit of St. Pat- rick’s Day were the lovely Irish songs and ballads sung by Don Al- bin. The dance patrons joined in enthusiastically on the choruses. Following the show, Louis Eis- ner, general chairman of the dance, supervised the drawing for the tic- | ket prizes. | A packaged tour to Havana, do- nated by Prado Tours, was won by H. Purcell. P. J. Ross held the | winning number on a. platform | rocker from Eisner Furniture Store. Two complete dinners at Luigi’s were won by Tom Anasta-| sia. | Naturally, a bachelor, J. D.
