Happy John gained his victory when he edged Gray Horn by a two length mar- gin and Portis Boy breezed past the finish line to edge Bendina by a full five lengths. The first race produced a Quini- ela payoff of 56.20 and the second paid 42.80. In the feature of the evening, F. B. Stutz’ Bogota came driving at the finish to gain a victory. Mat- thew Hill trailed the leader by two and a half lengths to pay a neat Quniela of 66.80. Trade Sec- ret ran third. The winner paid 10.60, 6.60 and 3.80 while Matthew Hill returned 13.80 and 15.60. Trade Secret re- turned 6.40. In tonight’s eleven race week- end program, a top field of grade one pups will go to the post in the hotbox special. They'll be led by F. B.
