Sets Survey In County Info On No. Of Cases Here Is Sought By Local Group A full-scale, county-wide} survey to determine the ex- act number of cerebral pal-| sy victims in Key West, will get underway shortly, ac-| cording to William Chap-| pell, president of the Unit-| ed Cerebral Palsy Associa- tion of Key West. The survey is being con- ducted in an effort to de- termine whether or nota cerebral palsy clinic is nec- essary in-Key West or if pa- tients should continue to be referred to Miami for treat- ment and care. Chappell said today that Wilbur Franklin, principal of the Poinciana Element- ary School has been reques- ted to organize a poll a- mong the city’s school chil- dren to aid in determining the number of palsy cases) here. Franklin: said today that each school child in the city will be giv- en a note to take to his or her frompals bg parents asking if there are any persons in their family suffering from palsy—or if they know of any} person who is a victim.
