B, Harvey at 2-7040 after 5 p. m. or to write him, care of Postoffice Box 93. The urgency for the contact is the result of a letter from Mrs. Gladys M. Heath, co-chairman, New Chapter Committee of Miami Chapter, National Secretaries As- sociation, who believes Key West secretaries would like a local chap- ter. She wrote to Mrs. Harvey as well as the Mayor and Harold Laubscher, manager of the Key West Chamber of Commerce con- cerning the organization of a group here. Laubscher offered the use-of his office for Saturday, June 20 at 2 p.m. The reason for the date, Mrs. Heath explained in a letter to the Key West Citizen, is that Mrs. Mary Barrett, national president of N. S. A. will be in Miami and available-for a visit to Key West at that time. © The purpose of the June 20 meet- ing would be to acquaint Key West secretaries with NSA, “get their reaction” and to later decide on installation if the group organized. Mrs. Barrett will be installing officer on June 17 of the Miami Chapter. The event takes place at the McAllister Hotel. Immediate confirmation of the dpte for a Key West conclave is therefore desired. This can be done by getting in touch with Mayor Harvey as soon as possible. Apply To Wed Dewitt E.
