Local Methodist Churches Join In Mission Program Key West’s Methodist Churches, First Church, E] Salvador and Ley| Memorial, will join more than 400 others in the Florida Methodist, Conference tomorrow in a share| of the United Evangelist Mission, | the greatest evangelistic effort ever H made by Methodists in the state. ! Guest ministers will preach | nightly from the pulpits of the local churches and teams of lay workers will, following the ad- monition of Jesus, “Go forth, two campaign of visit- ism. They will vis- it homes in the neighborhoods, seeking to win men and women to the fellowship of the Christian faith. Prior to their going out on their | visits, the lay workers will meet | in their respective churches, for instruction and benefit by the fel- lowship of their team mates. Bishop John W. Pearson at the University of Miami, Coral Gables. He has been delegated by the faculty of Bangor Theological Seminary, Bangor, Maine, to re- present that institution at this oc- casion, Bangor Seminary is one of the earliest theological schools in America, having been charter- ed in 1814.
