$791.80 Daily Double Is Paid At Kennel Club Tuesday Medley Race Set Tonight; Foot Hill Wins Tues. The payoffs soared last aight at the Key West Ken- aei Club when few favorites came in, topped by a mon- strous 791.80 bonus for the Daily Double when a pair of longshots, Joe Dale and Kitchen Maid copped wins. Joe Dale, the winner of the first race returned a hefty 44.00 to win and cou- pled with Kitchen Maid in the second, who returned 16.00 for a win ticket, they produced the payoff which is a track mark as action goes into its 40th session tonight. And tonight, racing fans will be treated to one of the busiest ses- sions of racing yet when Aven- ger, the holder of the track mark goes to the post in the feature and the first leg of the Key West Medley Stakes is run off. Then, on Saturday night, the same field will go out over the 38 mile marathon distance. The puppies will be rated on! the point system with the first place dog gaining six points, the 2nd place dog four and the third place puppy three points. Thus, last tonight, he still could con- ceivably capture the purse with a win Saturday over the longer distance.
