March 5th Is Deadline On Navy Work Bids Two sealed bids for projects at | + Key} the U.S. Naval Station, West, Fla., will be received until 2 p.m., March 5, by the Resident officer-in-charge of construction. The first project consists of ex- terior painting of buildings at the Naval Station. Included in the painting will story concrete stucco building, two one story concrete block buildings, and one two story frame building. The second project consists of an air conditioning system for) the injector test and repair room at the Naval Station. The work consists of providing all plant equipment, labor and materials, necessary. for the installation of a ten ton air conditioning unit in- cluding diffusers, grilles, electrical connections, reheating unit, water} lines and drains, carpenter work and painting. Another bid for enlisted men’s barracks at the Naval Air Sta- tion, Boca Chica Field, Key West, will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., April 1 by the District Public, Works Officer, U.S. Naval Base, Charleston, S, C. The project will consist of four enlisted men’s barracks buildings, of reinforced concrete and con- erete-unit masonry; with con- crete floors and precast roof slabs. Also needed will be thermal insulation; masonry in- terior partitions; some partiions will have structural glazed tile or glazed. concrete facing tile; windows will be wood, and doors will be wood or metal.
