Engineer’s Club To Meet Tuesday The regular monthly meeting of the Key West Engineer's Club will be held on Tuesday evening, Feb. 10, 1953, at 8 p. m. at the Armory on the corner of White and South- rd. ard. J. R. Munson, Lt., USN, Ships Department Planning Officer, U. S. Naval Station will be the guest speaker. Mr. Munson enlisted in the Navy in 1935 as Radioman and within a short time was one of the first men to be advanced to Chief Electronics Technician. He reé- ceived his Commission in 1942, and was one of the first Officers to be given instruction in Radar and later was placed in charge of Ra- dar School at Bellview, Washington D. C. Before coming to Key West Mr. Munson was Chief Instructor at Maintenance Engineering School at Bellview, Washington, D. CAP Groups Have New Meeting Site Important to all senior and cadet members of the Civil Air Patrol should be the announcement of the new CAP meeting place. ‘Arrangements are completed for the new location in the Armory, corner Southard and White Streets. It will now be possible for the two groups to meet together and talk over porblems asone body. Different courses will be con- ducted for the groups, both se- Paretly and together.
