After seeing the lovely picture of Glorida Lee furnished on Monday for advertising, I couldn’t wait past Monday night, and of course I wasn’t a bit disappointed. If ind that these are high caliber shows, and you can take your old grand- maw out there to worship at the feet of the lovely Ann of the nostalgic voice, laugh and chortle over the inanities and insanities of one Alkali Ike, who we suspect is the altar ego of Al Robinson, and laugh and thrill to that wonderful pair, Angelino and Francisco, who bring more than a little of old |Spain to the Southernmost City where it agrees so well. To get on with this latest charm- er who replaces the charming Adele, she dances unbelievably well, and her feet are lightning quick. The camera doesn’t lie and she is altogether beautiful. Of course I have very ood rea- | son for traveling out to that place on Stock Island on U. S, 1 besides the change of show on Monday night. That is the night you will find Les Rohde of Olympia fame taking a busman’s holiday and directing the show. Do you know that man is actually directing the Wylk’s Club show on his night off? The other six nights a week he performs his chores of nine year’s duration at the Olympia jly to take charge in his absence.
