The ballyhoo fish waltzed their skimming dives over the surface of the sea eliciting shrieks of joy from Hen- ry Clay and John Hudgins. The big freighters and tankers en route to Texas moved slowly on the horizon seeming to stand still to our eyes. Finally the moment came when Bert and Skipper Ed Gibson went into the water.
