And Its Inhabitants Another indication of the exten- le_activi ried on lub was at ‘Thursday night’s meeting when a new, light weight invalid ghair was Presented to Benjamin C. Felton, Jr., of Curry’s Lane. Funds for the chair, to replace Felton’s old one which had com- pletely worn out, were raised by selling tickets for a door prize at each club meeting. The prize was donated by some member of the club, so that all proceeds were a- vailable to apply on the cost of the chair. The committee appionted to pur- chase the chair and present it to Felton was composed of Roy Duke, Jim McManus, Willard Saunders and Andrew Pritchard. The dinner meeting, at the Lions Den on Seminary street, was held with the dual purpose of honoring members of the press in connection with National Newspaper Week and Lions. Representatives of the press present at the meeting were L. P. Artman, Jr., of the Florida Keys Star and Mrs. James R. Foresman of the Key West Citizen.
