Tropical Atlantic, Caribbean Sea Jack Kramer immediately after | Area and Eastern Gulf of Mexicor h There is an area of covering the eastern Bahamas and there is a broad flat low shewe the challenge round at Adelaide Dec. 29-31. There is nothing concrete to sup- port the Belief, even after several recent conversations with the two players and with Kramer, but it still is something more than a hunch that the fans of this country are seeing the two great Aussies for the last time as amateurs. Kramer, for one thing, is so con- fident that the big payday is in sight that he does not even plan to return to Australia this fall o give the two world champions an- other sales talk. For another thing, Mrs. Nell Hop- man, the charming wife of the Aussies’ cup captain, says she thinks the pair will go for the money, too. Although it is extreme- ly doubtful that ’Elpful would tell his own wife the time of the day, Nell has at least been around the boys all summer and should be in position to make a shrewd guess. Perhaps the most telling factor of all, in our opinion, lies in the abrupt alteration of circumstances since Sedgman accepted the $12,- 600 wedding gift from the Aus- | tralian tennis public last January for not turning pro. At that time the Aussies felt it would be little short of a national disaster to lose their Davis Cup ace. After the coming cup defense, Frank will be able to tell them in sweet reason ableness that they no longer need him, and thanks for everything McGregor, of course, is under no obligation whatever, The big change has come in the remarkable form displayed by the two Australian juniors, Ken Rose- wall and I s Hoad, this summer. Rosewall scored a five-set vic tory over our new cup captain Vic Seixas, in the Nationals at Forest Hills.
