The Rev. J. Paul Touchton will speak to the group and others on the to- pic “A Call To Reasonable Ser- vice.” The demands of the Chris- tian faith are in harmony with the best that we know in life with its many possibilities. Life in these days is set in a very dangerous background. It is full of many un- certainties. But the challenge that Christian living places on young and old alike is not to be taken lightly. At the Sunday evening wor- ship service the choir will sing “O Lord Most Holy,” by Franz Abt. The theme or the morning ser- vices at the Old Stone Church will be “Our Debt To Non-Confor- mists.” Moses, Amos, Jesus, Paul, Martin Luther, and John Wesley are cited as examples of those who have discovered new truth to | operate in their own lives and have | passed it on to others thus finding themselves in the midst of perse- cution because of it. The easier way which is the way that requires little effort is the way of least re- sistance. That is the way of con- formist. Though some have failed to conform because of their stub- | bornness, The evil in men’s hearts “The Kingdom Of God” Is Sermon Subject Sunday The Sunday morning program at the First Congregational Church will begin with session of the Sun- day School at 9:45 with James At- kinson, assistant superintendent in charge.
