Admiral Saldias ‘was met at the U.S. Naval Air Station, Boca Chica, by Captain! C. C. Adell, Commander Naval! Officer, Naval Air Station; and Captain H. Payson, dr, Chief Staff Officer, U. S. Naval Base. A 19-gun salute was fired in honor of Admiral Saldias upon his arrival at the U. S. Naval Sta- tion, Key West. Accompanying the Peruvian pes wry lt of Navy is Rear Ad- Ernesto Rodriguez, Peruv- ion Navy, Commander of the Fleet; Captain Guillermo Tirado, Peruvian Navy, Chief, Bureau of Ships; Alfredo Freyre, Peruvian ‘Navy, Chief, Bureau of and Accounts; Com- mander Carlos Salmon, Peruvian Navy, Flag Secretary; Captain W. E. Zimmerman, USN, Senior ‘U. S. Naval Aide to Admiral Saldias; and Lt. (jg) A. A. Schir- mer, (SC), Liason Officer. While in Key West, Admiral Saldias and his party will visit the Fleet Sonar School, Naval the Submarines USS SS 347, Surface Anti- Submarine Development Detach- ment, Advanced Undersea Weap- ons School, Air Development Squadron One, Airship Develop- ment Squadron 11, and the U. S. Naval Hospital. On Friday evening a cocktail party followed by dinner will be given in honor of Admiral Saldias at the Fort Taylor Officers’ Club Senior officers of the U. S.
