Disbury, severely ed yesterday on his ship SS Sea Comet, brought to shore by Coast Guard. and oper- ated on by Naval Surgeon J. J. Zuska, it was learned to- day. ‘His condition remains critical. Disbury, 46, near death was brought in by the Coast Guard ship at 3:30 p.m. from the. Sea Buoy. Cause of his injuries re- mains unknown as the Coast Guard has not been able to reach the skipper of the Sea Comet , which went full speed ahead for its destination, Boston. Comdr. Zuska operated on Disbury removing the blood clot which endangered the seaman’s life. He also has a brain concus- sion and a broken arm. Navy hospital OD, Dr. W. S. Hatt said that Disbury remains on the, critical list today. Dishury’s home address is 2658 S. 48th street, Gulfport, Fla. The injured man would not fell Coast Guard or Navy how he was hurt.
