Allen was taken to the City Jail and later released on $250 bond for appearance in Munici- pal Court. When Lester Scott fell asleep at the wheel of his car proceed- ing east on Truman Avenue at Francis St., his auto struck two parked cars owned by George Richardson of the USS Gilmore and Jack Kelso of 2016 Fogarty Avenue, causing damage to all three vehicles.
