Jews Will Celebrate The celebration of Chanuckah, which in Hebrew means dedication, also known as the Feast of Lights will be celebrated by Jews every- where for eight beginning Sunday night, Dec 1951 About 2100 years ago the Syrians and Greeks attempted to conquer and subdue Judea. Antiochus, the the Syrian ruler at that time, is. sued a decree prohibiting the Jews from worshiping God in their own Manner.
