Disabled Vets Must Await Auto Funds Congress Must Reconvene To Appropriate Finances For The Purchase Of Cars By Service-Disabled Vets Eligible disabled file applications for automobiles or other conveyances under a new law recently enacted by the Con gress will have to wait for their cars until the Congress reconvenes and can appropriate funds to ad- minister the Act, it was revealed today. Veterans Administration explain-! ed that since the new law does not contain an appropriation of funds for the cars, the Agency will have to ask the Congress for a Special appropriation when it veterans who | reconvenes | next January.
