NEWSPAPER I JUNE 19, 1951 Shrimp Boat Cutted By Fire; $15,000 Loss | “Capt. Shea” Owned By Herbert Stein Catches Fire In Effort Made To Get It Out Of Squall A shrimp boat the “Capt. Shea” was wrecked by fire this morn- ing, an indirect casualty of the unprotected waters of Key West harbor, When iast night's squall came up, shrimpers immediately tried to move the boats in the harbor to more protected positions. The engine of the Capt. Shea would not start up, so shrimpers tried the Delco. It short circuited and ignited the boat. Firemen rushed to the scene at: 1:40 4. m., and put out the blaze, they thought. At 5:30 the alarm sounded again and thé firemen discovered that the smoldering vessel had blazed once more. Today the Capt. Shea is a char- ki red and ri ed hulk. ir i - Mould Gant Ge GRR een (| LT: CLINTON EFFINGER, F-80 jet pilot {rom West Palm Beach, 1 one official of the fish house Fla., flew so low in a strafing attack on the Korean front that the Reds threw rocks at him.
