Your splendid publicity and large contributions of waste pa- }per have helped greatly with | this project. Countless individuals and num-- erous firms and organizations are assisting with the project, and ; the committee expresses thank- {ful appreciation to each of them. The paper and cardboard are hauled to Miami each week through the courtesy of the Gulf- stream Food Store, whose gen- erosity in lending to the church the use of its large van makes market of the paper possible. Mrs. E. P. Johnston, Kenneth Curry, William N. Hoffman and !the Reverend Eldon Simmons | have volunteered to pick up pa- per throughout the city, and they have done a valuable and ardu- ous task in bringing the paper to the church, Other members and friends of the church have assisted, and many who are mem- bers of other churches, and who are visitors to the city. Especially does the committee thank the Masonic lodges of Key West and the Rainbow Girls for quantities of cardboard and pa- | per; also the Reverend and Mrs. W. J. Ashworth of the Fleming Street Methodist Church, the Reverend Leon Wells of the First Methodist Church, and the con- gregation of those churches for their, cooperation; the First Presbyterian Church, and the other churches in the city which have assisted; the schools of Key West, the Municipal Hospital and © the U.S. Naval Hospital; »Robert Gravel; the Margaret Ann Stores, the Atlantic Motel; the Hi Milk Co.; Mulberg Chey or Home Appliance Co.; olsum = Bakery; Appelrouth Desk oan Store; Western Auto Store; Minnie Porter Harris; Miss Mary Fortner, and many others wlis ” have contributed especially large ae quantities of cardboard and pat. Ae & per. : Mr. Hoffman, co-chairman of the committee in charge of th | pick- up service, has been: cal out of the city because of iliness in his family, and it was nob possible for him to take care | the calls last week. Since a schedule is be-. ing prepared, and some eee may be. omitted, it is reques' that those people who have been. so kind to save papere, for the — church, please keep it a few days longer. if it is not in the way, and again call 883-W, to make sure your address will be in- cluded in the new schedule.
