Charles Brickley Dies Of Heart Attack Last Night |- NEW YORK, Dec.*29.—(#).— Football fans and old Harvard grads are mourning the death of Charlie Brickley, one of the greatest drop kickers of all time and a legendary figure in foot- ball history. Brickley died of a heart attack late last right, minutes after he was found seriously ill in his room ina New York hotel. He; ‘was 58. Only yesterday he and ior, had appeared in court on dis- orderly conduct charges, growing out of a fight. The fight started in a Manhat- tan restaurant, where a patron had pointed to the elder Brickley and said, “You mean_ that old ; baldheaded man is the great Charley Brickley.” Both Brickley took exception to the remark.
