The March of committee and t¢ Jay eees regret very much that Rob inson will not be available. A fine program of local talent has been lined up for the Ball and efforts | to obtain other profegsional tal pt from out of town are still go on The Jaycees’ ball committee have formulated an ingenious seating arrangement for the s Ball at the Casa w evening where by-almost every table will be “pingisde”. ‘It is essential how ever that the reservation list be as gomplete as possible for effec ults. The committee has requested that all res- drvations be telephoned in to the March of Dimes Headquarters, shone 1683, by noon, Saturday Provisions will be made, how- ever, for those who, as in previ- ous years, attend without advance reservations to contribute their bit to this worthy event, and ev- ery effort will be made to seat them as advantageously as possi- Mareh of Din Marina tom Stars, or no stars, the Jaycees ; have arranged for a full evening! of enjoyment, a la C Marina— those have not yet listened and! Mrs. Dowski, a professional European artist, has played before audiences in New York, London, Paris and Vienna and has established a most envi- able reputation in the world of professional entertainment Calloway, March of Manager, has veen diligently endeavorir to obtain a well known star for the Ball. It appears difficult to secure such services, however, for a Sa- turday-night, and the Jaycee ‘lommittge have reluctantly —re- ftained from a Sunday evening ir. Calloway has not gin up hope, and there is still possibility that a well known ster may yet appear on the pro ‘pm. ince the purpose of the Ball is to raise funds for the March of Dimes, the Jaycees believe the public would prefer having an enjabable evening without deple ting such funds by hiring an ex pensive out-of-town show, the calibre of which could not be vpuched for In addition to the entertain- ment prizes, etc., now planned, dancing to t ing music ef Bob McC Marina Orchestra is, in_ its worth the admission of $3. * Tickets are available from any Jaycee or the March of Dimes Headquarters, which is also tak- ing the re: rising Kontos is unbeatable!
