PICKENS, JR., who will conduct tomorrow morning's service at the First Congregation- al Church, will enter Bangor Seminary, Bangor, Me., in the Fall to study for the ministry, it was revealed today. The son of Rev. John E. Pickens, pastor of the Congregational and Poinci- rrp eeenety Churches, the young man will preach on "Yes Men”. The service starts at o'clock. . Rev. W. Lee Parker, Yale Divinity School teacher, will deliver the evening worship sermon, speaking on “Christianity and Democracy”. Rev. Parker and Pickens are serving in place of Rev. Pickens until his return from a school in New Hampshire. Week-day events at the First Congregational Church include Women's Auxiliary meeting at 4 p.m. Monday; Missionary Society and Prayer Meeting, 7:30 Wednesday night; choir re- hearsal and Youth Fellowship at 7:30 Thursday night and Boy Scout Troop 50 meeting and Vacation Church School Teachers’ meeting at 7:30 o'clock Fri-* day night.
