Red Barn Players Present ‘ “The Drunkard” Tonight: The Red Barn Players from Massachusetts continue their sea- son of legitimate stock plays . at the Harris School by presenting tonight and tomorrow night, “The Drunkard”, an old_ time melo- drama. The Red Barn Players are sponsored by P.T.A.. The audience is expected to join in the performance by hissing and booing the villain and cheering the hero. “The Drunkard” is one of the most popular melo- dramas, its success is shown by the fact that it has been playing five years in Los Angeles, Cali- fornia. The cast of the Red Barn Play- ers is especially adapted to the roles of “The Drunkard”. The title role is played by the man- aging director’ Alan Gray ‘Hol- mes; Lawyer Cribbs (the villain) by Joseph Daniel; William Dow- ton by George Perkins; Farmer Stevens by John Putnam, and)! the bartender and Rencelau, béth taken by Charles Birmingham.
