We get by after a fashion with the lad who wants to know if this is a good place to raise dogs; and ‘when it comes to fishing, we can really throw our weight into tne reply. Indignant letters from people who want to know how we expect them to come when they have been informed that the ‘toll on the Oversea Highway is some fantastic figure, are easy enough. But the Chamber of {Commerce will award a prize of | ONE DOLLAR to the writer who will suggest the most satisfactory ‘ answer to the following letter and if there is no answer deemed sat- isfactory, there will be no dollar. Here is the letter: “We expect to live in Key West, Florida, for about six weeks * * * we want an inex- | _— ‘pensive place for that period of time. Our idea is merely to camp out in a small beach shack | with room for servant, child and ‘ourselves. Kindly state amount ‘ of rent.” i Perhaps the contestant for the prize does not know the answer to that one, so here is another chance: “I would like to have some literature concerning a pleasant location of a furnished cottage. We are a family of three adults and a well trained, well behaved little dog. We will spend several |months. We want a small fur- ;nished cottage, on or very near jthe beach. One comfortable, | large room with one double bed, , one single; or thrée single beds. (Pete, the dog, will bring his own jbed) a kitchenette and small bath, or shower, we would re- spect others’ property as we do our own and can leave here most any time.” “Of course, I can always take another aspirin,” Singleton said “but, seriously, this is about what twenty-five per cent of them want and what Key West must prepare to furnish. Lord's court two men will be given a hearing on the use of an aeroplane without the consent of the owner. The story is to the effect that on Saturday Fernando Stirrup and Armando Alfonso went to the hanger were the airplane, be- longing to Daniel Lawson, is kept and represented to the person in charge that they had the permis sion of the owner to use the plane. The person in charge agreed to the use of the plane under the representations of Stirrup and Alfonso, who took the plane off the ground and proceeded to Mi- ami. They remained until yes- terday when they returned, and placed the plane in the hanger. The aerialists were later ar rested by Deputy Sheriff Ray Elwood, and taken to the county jail where they were later re leased on bond of $100 each, to appear before the judge this af- ternoon for hearing. Both of the men arrested claim they had permission from Mr Lawson to use the plane. Mr Lawson declares positively that this is not true, and signed the affidavit to this effect, on which the young men were arrested PAUL REVERE MADE TEETH BOSTON .—Paul Revere, who is known for his ride and for his lver-smithing, also made false teeth.
