The discussion was led by W. R. Porter who gave a_ general outline of the needs, and offefed suggestions as to the specific changes which must be put into effect in order to comfortably handle the increased business which is promised for the future. It was shown where practic- ally none of the offices on the lower floor were adequate to handle the business which was being brought before the of- ficers, and as it was necessary that facilities be enlarged, it was decided to have an architect go over the details of the build- ing, and formulate the necessary plans. It was suggested by Chairman Bervaldi that as it was to be a request for funds from the WPA with which to do the work, the plans should be started at once,' and appointed Mr. Porter to take charge of the entire matter.
