Thompson are leaving tomorrow morning for Miami where they will visit for a few months with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Clarke. John Hazzard, representative of the Texas Oil Co., who wag in the city yesterday for a visit with the Porter Dock Co., local agents for the Texas Co., left on the afternoon plane for Miami. B. M. Duncan, chief engineer for the OverSeas Road ‘and Toll Bridge Commission, was a passen- ger for Miami enroute to Jackson- ville. Wm. R. Porter. of the board of county commissioners of Monroe county, left yesterday afternoon by plane for Miami for a_ short business trip. Mrs. Louisa Knowles was an outgoing passenger on the bus this morning en route to. Miami for a visit with relatives. Wm. McKillip, engineer of the Launch Le Pecheur, of the Over- seas Road and Toll Bridge District, who was in the city for a_ brief visit with relatives, left this morning to join the vessel at No Name Key. : Mrs. Elzabeth Woodbury and son, who were visiting Mrs. Wood- bury’s father, P. J. Stickney, and other relatives, left on the morn- ing bus for Miami. PERSONAL MENTION, Entertains At Birthday Party William Brent Norman III, son of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Nor- man, celebrated his first birthday with a party held in the ballroom of the Over-Sea Hotel on Satur- day, October 23rd. Hallowe’en motifs were carried out im the decorations and freshments, Prizes were awarled to Jim Miner and Connie Goehring. Many delightful games played throughout the afternoon.
