FROM.CAGE AT HOME OF LIGHTHOUSE, SUPER- Four igye’ birds, grey, disappeared yesterday from a eage at the wonderful aviary maintained by Wm. W. Demevitt, superintendent of lighthouses, at his home on Whitehead street. Mr. Demeritt said this morn- ing that he finds it impossible to believe that people can become so blind to the requirements of honesty as to be guilty of per- petrating a contemptible theft such as this. There were four birds in the cage, one of them white, the others grey. The grey ones were stolen and the white ones left in the cage. Mr. Demeritt maintains the aviary because of his love for the beautiful and is especially inter- ested in breeding brds. The loss has made it necessary to offer a reward of $10 for information concerning the loss and which will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons respon- sible for the theft. —WE FILL— PRESCRIPTIONS FOR ANY DOCTOR —Called For and Delivered— GARDNER’S PHARMACY Phone 177 Free Delivery ‘TONS OF FREIGHT FOR KEY WEST : four second cabin passengers from.
