ENTERTAINMENT THIS ‘AFTERNOON AT LOCAL PARK PROGRAM» AND CHRISTMAS TREE TO BE PUT ON BY MEMBERS OF NATIONAL YOUTH ADMINISTRATION Young folks who are members of the group employed on Nation- al Youth Administration projects in Key West have planned a de- lightfully entertaining program for this afternoon 5 o’clock at Bayview Park. In addition to a well-arranged Christmas tree from which pres- ents to the NYA employes will be distributed, there has been ar- ranged a program of numbers which, it is assured, will be en- tertaining as well as instructive. It will Le strictly an amateur presentation in which will appear members of the NYA group with several others who are not con- nected with the administration but are capable entertainers. James Fort, director of NYA operations and projects, said this morning that it may be possible to have the amplifiers and other paraphernalia on hand and ar- rangements were then under way to have the insta‘lations made. As an added attraction, it was said, the Key West High School choir will be heard in one or more numbers. Invitations are being extended to every person in Key West to at- tend the entertaniment this aft- ernoon, HENRY BARNETT ON VISIT HERE INTERESTED IN BUS SIGHT- SEEING TOURS FROM MI- AMI TO KEY WEST Henry Barnett, of Miami, is a visitor in Key West and was a pleasant caller yesterday after- noon at The Citizen office leoked over the plant and remarked on its size and capacity. Mr. Barnett who designed and owns a new type of bus, of the pusher type, power p’ant and all machinery in the rear, is here in the interest of arranging sight- seeing tours from Miami to Key West. This afternoon Mr, Barnett. is to meet with the city council and discuss the matter from every point, He will give to council ¢| detailed explanation of his plan, costs, travel arrangements and] accommodations. for travellers.
