Farrington was ‘arrested some months ago on a charge.of assault and battery with intent to kill. The assault was committed on Wil- son Russell, who was gate tender at the pineapple factory. He ‘wasgivena-- preliminary hearitg and placed in jail to await} action of the criminal court, but later made his escape and was not! heard of until several days ago.
