Grand Rapids, Minn., April 4, 1913 A special meeting of the Village Council of the ‘Village of Grand Rapids, Itasca County, Minnesota, was held this 4th, day of April 1913 in the Recorder's offi- ce, Village hall at 9 o'clock p. m. Members Present—Trustees Arscott and Russel] and Recorder Sherman. | On motion duly made and carried | Trustee Russell was appointed President pro tem. It being tha time and place set for the hearing of certain liquor license applications, President, pro tem, Rus- Sell declared this the order of business, The application of John Beaudry was taken up, the Recorder stating that same had been published according to law, and there being’ no Objections filed against the granting of said license Trustee Arscott moved that license be granted to John Beaudry for a period of one year, from April 1st, 1913. Re- corder Sherman seconded the motion and upon a vote being had, the follow- ing voted aye: Arscott, Russell and Sherman. There being no nays the mo- tion was declared carried and license ordered issued to John Beaudry, sub- ject to the approval of applicants bond. The application of McLaughlin & An- thony was taken up, the Recorder stating that same had been published according to law, and there being no Objections filed against the granting of said license, Trustee Arscott moved that license be granted to McLaughlin & Anthony for a period of one year from April 13th, 1913. Recorder Sherman sec- onded the motion and upon a vote be- ing had, the following voted aye: Ar- Scott, Russell and Sherman.
