Upon motion of Commissioner Mul- lins, seconded by Commissioner Nel- son, the plat of the survey of Sec- tion 4, Township 150, Range 28 was approved by unanimous vote. Upon motion the petitions for the survey of section 3, township 53, Tange 23; section 24, township 55, range 27 and sections 7 and 8, town- ship 150, range 28, were continued to the next meeting. The county auditor was instructed to furnish circular letters to the var- ious town boards and others interest- ed, giving full information as to the steps taken and necessary proceed- imgs in connection with tbe. survey “of section and property lines, and the assessment the amount of the expenses of said survey. Commissioner Mullins left the meeting to attend a joint meeting with the board of supervisors of the town of Grand Rapids in the matter of the consideration of bids for the construction of a bridge across the Mississippi river in said town of Grand Rapids. Commissioner King moved that Anton Payment be recommended to |the Minnesota State Highway Com- mission for appointment as section- }man on State Road No. 1, between the Villages of Gramd Rapids and Cohasset. The motion was seconded | by Commissioner O’Brien and carried ‘by unanimous vote. Commissioner Mullins moved that |Dave Montcalm be appointed as , Section-man on the Bovey road, be- | tween the Village of Grand Rapids and Prairie River Bridge, until the 7th day of May next, and that his compensation be fixed at the rate of $55 per month. The motion was seconded by Commissioner O’Brien ‘and carried by unanimous vote. Commissioner King moved that the Chairman appoint a committee of three to examine the work done by H. F.
